“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)
Happy New Month!
Welcome to the month of June. We have made it to the sixth month of the year. If you are reading this, you are alive, and that alone is a reason to give thanks. God has been so good to us. Through every high and low, He has kept us, sustained us, and brought us this far.
A special shout-out to all the June babies reading this. I wish you a blessed, joyful, and prosperous birthday month in advance. And for the non-celebrants, I pray that this month will be fruitful, productive, and filled with God’s favor for us all.
As we step into June, I want to encourage us to pause and count our blessings. Think back to the beginning of this year. Reflect on where you were in January and where you are now.
Perhaps a part of you feels like you have not accomplished much. Maybe the goals you set for 2026 have not yet come to fruition. If that is you, please hear this: if you still have breath in your lungs, God is not done with you.
The Bible says:
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” — Psalm 150:6
Your life is evidence that God still has a purpose for you. Being alive is not a small blessing, it is a gift worth thanking Him for every single day.
June is not a month for regret; it is a month for gratitude and a time to reset. God’s plans for your life are not cancelled because things have not happened according to your timeline.
Personally, at the beginning of this year, I thought I would write at least four blog posts every month. Yet here I am, halfway through the year, and I have hardly written at all. Life became busy, responsibilities increased, and time seemed to slip away. But rather than focusing on what I have not done, I choose to reset with gratitude in my heart.
After all, it takes someone who is alive to write, doesn’t it?
God has been so good to me in ways I cannot fully comprehend. Even amid my busy schedule, I knew I needed to create space again for writing, editing, proofreading, publishing, and all the beautiful things that come with sharing words that inspire others.
As we begin this month, let us start with a heart full of gratitude. Let our thoughts be centered on God daily. Let us honor Him through our actions, our words, and our decisions. Let us trust Him with the goals that remain unfinished and the prayers that remain unanswered.
Remember:
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness”
